I am wondering what possessed me to make not one, but two scrappy quilts. I have now cut 560+ 5 inch squares, not once, but twice. Wondering why I didn't realize that those sewn squares would have to be squared back to 5 inches before sewing them into blocks. The truth is, I still have 210 squares left to square up. I will have the two tops together before the end of the week.
Today is devoted to working on designing a quilt with Johannah. It will be fun to see what she designs. We will only be able to work on this during the coming weekends when she is home from school, but I am looking forward to this mom-daughter interaction.
